Our Wire EDM machine is used for Ni-alloy of 190mm height cutting successfully.  

Ni -alloy: Inconel 718 is the higher temperature alloy, which is hard for the traditional machine tool to cut off for its higher rigidity. One of our clients from overseas market meets the difficult problem of cutting this material for a long period. 


Finally, the client agreed to send us a sample (Inconel 718, height 190mm) for us to cut off it at the circle Dia76mm. 


The job (circle of dia76mm, and height: 190mm) was cut off smoothly with our wire cut EDM machine last weekend. Total cutting time: 10 Hours 16min. 

To avoid the wire breaking, we did not cut it at the fastest speed. Because it would take us more time to thread the wire through the higher work piece, in case the wire breaks during the cutting. If you need a faster cutting speed, we can improve it by adjust the parameters setting.

After viewing the sample pictures, the client is very satisfied with our wire cut EDM machine’s performance.
