2 Product Features

（1）The FR-2252, FR-2221 and FR-2060 series are high molecular weight silicone polymers with good thermal stability, char-forming agent and anti-drip properties ( it can replace PTFE completely),and have a good dispersion property in matrix resin.

（2）FR-2252, FR-2221 and FR-2060 is one series of Flame retardant which can be used for PC, PET, PBT, ABS, PP, PA，PS resin. In addition, according to customer's special requirement, various special functional groups are customized for different matrix resin.

（3）FR-2252, FR-2221 and FR-2060 series of products have an excellent compatibility with the resin. When a quantity of not more than 1% wt is added in resin, it will never affect the mechanical property of the flame-retardant resin and the flame retardant property can last stably.

3 Instructions

（1）The series of product, added into the resin with a confirmed ratio can be used under a low shear mixture. It is prohibited to knead the series of product or to mix with a high shear before use, because it is a high molecular weight silicone polymer.

（2）The amount of standard addition is 0.1% ~ 1.4%wt. Under the different quantities of the various flame retardant additive, toughening agent & other additives, and the thickness of the final product, the preliminary test should be carried out to determine the appropriate dosage.

【Recipe examples】：For the PC resin, FR-2252: FR-2025 (or HES) = 0.4 ~ 1.4: 0: 08 ~ 0.2, can achieve 1.6,1.2,0.8,0.6,0.4V0。

5 Precautions

This product is a non-dangerous fire and can be put in dark and dry place. Because it is a mobile powder, the operators must wear a mask. In case it enters eye, please immediately rinse your eye with running water for at least 20 minutes, and then go to see a doctor.
