Our Electrical discharge sawing machine(EDS) satisfys our clients 

One of our clients from India came to our factory for the inspection of the EDS machine (Electrical discharge sawing machine) from Jun11 to Jun14, 2018.

During the inspection, we made a few of cutting tests with a bear steel of Dia400mm*Length1000mm on the EDS machine (Electrical discharge sawing machine). And our client was very satisfied with the performance of the EDS machine, especial for the higher cutting speed &the lower cutting tools cost. The average cutting speed is 1500sq mm per min, which is 2 time higher than the band saw machine. And the lower cutting tool cost is less 1.5USD, which is less than1% of the imported sawing blade cost.

Here are the details of the trial cutting test on the EDS machine as follows:

1.     WORKPIECE: BEARING STEEL OF DIA400MM*1000MM

2.     CUTTING TIME: 83MIN

3.     CUTTING SPEED: 1513 SQ MM PER MIN.

4.     CUTTING GAP: LESS THAN 3MM

5.     COOLANT(SODIUM SILICATE) DENSITY: 1.28

6.     MACHINING CURRENT:0-500A

7.     MACHINING VOLTAGE: 40-55V

Later, we will ship the machine to our client’s site soon. Surely, our client will improve the cutting speed and lower their cutting tools cost greatly with the EDS machine in future.
